캐논 EOS 1DC 뜬금포 리뷰

8년전 출시한 카메라지만 지금도 충분히 활용도가 높은 카메라였습니다. 사진 촬영시 모델의 시선을 확실히 잡알 수 있는 박력있는 셔터소리와 육중한 부피 그리고 충분히 좋은 영상 화질은 좋은 활용성을 기대하게 합니다.

Canon 1DC 4K Cinematic (Does the camera still hold up after 8 years?)
Finally got a chance to review this lovely 1DC. The world’s first 4K DSLR. Also the most expensive DSLR ever. When it was first announced back in 2012. The camera was US$15,000. Works out AU$24,500. That money you could buy 2.5x 1DX Mark III now. So back in the days, I could only dream of that camera.

Even though it’s almost 8 years old now. But the DCI 4K 4:2:2 codec, unlimited recording and C-Log still rocks!! (I wish the 1DX Mark III could do unlimited 4K recording)

So in this video test, I was really surprised the quality is very nice. It doesn’t feel like it was an old 8 year old camera. Think about it, 8 years ago. We were still using the 5D Mark II and III. The quality didn’t come close to this 1DC. When I compare the 4K image to the EOS-R. I even find the 1DC 4K image looks sharper and more detail. Even tho the EOS-R can do 10Bit out through the HDMI. But the detail is just nicer on the 1DC.

@csound55 : I bought the 1Dc in 2013 and still really like the 4k image. DCI 4K crop is only 1.28 compared to 1.8 UHD crop on EOS r - which I also own. 1Dc also has a Super 35 crop mode that produces very detailed 1080p. The 1Dc 4K image has quite a unique look - detailed without looking over sharpened, more like film stock. EOS r has it's own strengths like great AF but the 1Dc has a better image IMO.
@OpenDGuitar : Have been using the 1DC since it’s first release…so we paid far too much, but I am still blown away by the image quality.
@martydenson_mfm : This camera was truly ahead of it's time. Beautiful image quality. Ridiculous price tag. Hard to find one nowadays.

As for the Gear it must be pretty good and still pulling through without a hiccup .
But the biggest credit goes to the user and colourist who can create turn anything beyond the expectation.
@News_Today : One question... what would you choose between Canon 1DC 4K (Used in Excellent condition) vs New Blackmagic 6K pocket ( although it is brand new, I heard lot of QC issues) and both are same price. I have started learning cinematography and wanted a good camera with optional AF/ IBIS but with cinematic look that you get with expensive cameras.Thank you.
